Why remove metadata?
A PDF exported from Word can include your name, your company and the original file path. Journalists, lawyers and job applicants often remove metadata before sharing documents.
Removing metadata doesn't change what's on the pages. Names typed into the document itself, such as in a header, stay.
Tip: Also want to remove scripts and attachments? Use Sanitize PDF.
Your files stay on your device
Most online PDF sites upload your documents to their servers. Aleynray Ai does the work inside your browser instead, on your own computer or phone.
