What "valid" means
A valid signature means the signed part of the file hasn't changed since signing, and the signature matches the certificate. If someone added another signature later, the earlier one stays valid.
Whether to trust who signed is a separate question: this tool shows the certificate details but doesn't check certificate authority trust lists or revocation. Adobe Acrobat Reader can do that for certificates on its trusted list.
Tip: Got a warning in Adobe Reader? Check here to see whether the file changed or the certificate just isn't trusted.
Your files stay on your device
Most online PDF sites upload your documents to their servers. Aleynray Ai does the work inside your browser instead, on your own computer or phone.
Nothing is sent anywhere, so contracts, bank statements, IDs and medical forms stay private, and there is no waiting for uploads.
