About TIFF files

TIFF is the standard format for scanners, faxes and archives, and one TIFF file can hold many pages. Most phones and browsers can't open TIFF files, but every device opens PDF.

LZW, Deflate, PackBits, JPEG and fax (CCITT) compressed TIFFs are supported, in colour, greyscale and black and white.

Tip: Is the PDF too big to email? Run it through Compress PDF.

Your files stay on your device

Most online PDF sites upload your documents to their servers. Aleynray Ai does the work inside your browser instead, on your own computer or phone.

Nothing is sent anywhere, so contracts, bank statements, IDs and medical forms stay private, and there is no waiting for uploads.

  • Free, with no sign-up or limits
  • No watermark
  • Files never leave your device
  • Opens password-protected PDFs
  • Works on desktop and mobile

Frequently asked questions

Will my TIFF images lose quality?

No. Images are stored without loss in the PDF.

Can I combine several files into one PDF?

Yes. Every file becomes a page in one PDF, in the order you set.

What page size should I pick?

A4 or Letter for printing; "Same size as the image" to keep the image's own shape.

Are multi-page TIFFs supported?

Yes. Each page inside the TIFF becomes its own PDF page.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no limit on files and no watermark.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The tool runs inside your web browser and works on the file on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so private documents stay private.
