Which tables work best?
Tables made in a spreadsheet or word processor and saved as PDF convert well, with or without lines. Merged cells and text wrapped over several lines in a cell may need a little tidying afterwards.
Scanned tables are pictures, so run OCR PDF first to turn them into text.
Tip: In Europe, Excel expects semicolons. Choose "Semicolon" if all your data lands in one column.
