Getting a clean printout
Spreadsheets rarely fit a page by themselves. The automatic setting fits all the columns to the page width when the text stays readable, and switches to landscape when that helps.
Formulas show their last saved values. Charts and pictures in sheets are included when they were saved in the file.
Tip: Wide sheet? Choose landscape and "Fit all columns on the page width".
