How good is the conversion?
Documents with normal paragraphs, headings, lists and simple tables, like reports, letters and articles, convert very well. Layouts with several columns, text boxes or text over pictures may need some tidying in Word.
Scanned PDFs are pictures of text: run OCR PDF first, otherwise each page comes out as a picture.
