From spreads to single pages
Scanning a book open flat gives two pages per scan. Dividing each scan down the middle turns it back into single pages that read naturally on a phone or e-reader.
Each new page shows one part of the original; the rest of the original page is hidden rather than erased. Text stays searchable and images keep their quality.
Tip: Pieces not quite even because the book was off-centre? Crop the pages first.
Your files stay on your device
Most online PDF sites upload your documents to their servers. Aleynray Ai does the work inside your browser instead, on your own computer or phone.
Nothing is sent anywhere, so contracts, bank statements, IDs and medical forms stay private, and there is no waiting for uploads.
- Free, with no sign-up or limits
- No watermark
- Files never leave your device
- Opens password-protected PDFs

Frequently asked questions
How do I split a scanned book into single pages?

Does the quality change?
No. Each piece is the same page with a smaller visible area.
Is it free?
