When WebP to JPG makes sense
WebP is common on modern websites, but some older workflows still expect JPEG. JPG cannot preserve transparent pixels, so this converter places transparent areas over the background color you choose.
The converter keeps the original pixel dimensions. It changes the file encoding rather than enlarging or sharpening the image. If the source is already blurry or heavily compressed, converting formats will not reconstruct missing detail.
